As many of you know, I love my Mexican food. I use a lot of taco seasoning, but that stuff is loaded with all kinds of unnecessary ingredients. Why not make your own?
- 1 part chili powder
- 1 part ground cumin
- 1 part garlic powder
- 1 part onion powder
- 1/4 – 1/2 part crushed red pepper
Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
I didn’t make a huge batch of this because it’s so easy to throw together when you need it. I’m so happy I found this. I always buy the reduced sodium taco seasoning, but that stuff is still loaded with sodium. I used this in my favorite Taco Chili
recipe and it was delicious.
