Day 179 – Wrapping Paper Holder

{1 Comment}

I have had my eye on this pin for a while, but I kept forgetting to keep the dang toilet paper rolls! I finally remembered before throwing out the paper towel roll today, so I gave this wrapping paper holder a try.

Since I used a paper towel roll, I was able to cut it in half to make two. It’s a really great tip for keeping your wrapping paper from unraveling. The only problem I can foresee is that they get stretched out. At least we’ll never be at a loss for replacements if that does happen.

  1. I was pretty excited about this tip when I saw it on Pinterest. I also used a paper towel roll, cut in two. They stretched open pretty quickly. That wouldn’t be a problem if I stored my wrapping paper horizontally, but I keep it all in a bin that stands up vertically. So the cardboard tube just slips down to the bottom of the bin and falls off as soon as I pull up the wrapping paper. So this tip didn’t work for me. Bummer.
