This is a great tip for when you use those nail polish colors that are really hard to get off. Instead of scrubbing your nails and cuticles, try this instead.

Directions:
1. Soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover and place on the nail.
2. Wrap a piece of foil all the way around the toe or finger, covering the cotton ball completely. Repeat as necessary. It seems like it might be a little tricky doing your fingers on your own. Let this sit for 5-10 minutes.
3. Apply pressure to the foil around the nail and slide the foil and cotton ball off. The polish should slide away on the cotton ball.

I don’t wear fingernail polish much, but I always have my toenails painted in the summer. I gave this a shot and was pretty impressed by the results. The polish really did slide right off. I won’t be using this method all the time, but it’s great for the colors that are really hard to get off; especially anything with glitter in it.
