Day 39 – Repurposed Creamer Bottles

{5 Comments}

Yet again, I find myself asking, “Why didn’t I think of that?” Coffee creamer bottles make great storage containers. I usually pick up whatever creamer is on sale, so I had two different bottles to experiment with.

Coffee-Mate makes the most storage friendly container because they are clear. Once you rip the label off and wash it out, you can fill it with all kinds of random things you find in your pantry. I filled mine with black beans because those bags always get lost behind everything else. I’m saving up more for my chocolate chip bags.

International Delight posed more of a challenge. Their plastic isn’t clear so you can’t see what is inside.

You could just write the contents in permanent marker right on the bottle, but I decided to get a little creative. I busted out the chalkboard paint again. I put two layers of paint right on the bottle and let it dry.

Now I have a fun sugar container that will match my creamer. Yay!
